Future Operations Planner

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

We are seeking a skilled Future Operations Planner to lead and support operational and strategic planning within defensive cyberspace operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing various operational plans and orders, providing expert advice on planning and policy issues, and assisting in the development of emerging concepts and doctrines.

Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Future Operations Planner: Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Future Operations Planner Responsibilities Include:
* Plan and execute operational and strategic operations in defensive cyberspace operations.
* Review and draft CONOPs (Concept of Operations), WARNORDs (Warning Orders), PLANORDs (Planning Orders), OPORDs (Operation Orders), FRAGORDs (Fragmentary Orders), and EXORDs (Execution Orders).
* Serve as the action officer for contingency and crisis action planning.
* Provide expert advice on planning and policy issues and develop plans and briefings for military leadership.
* Assist in the development of emerging concepts, doctrine, and procedures at the local and HHQ (Higher Headquarters) levels.
* Lead or assist in Operational Planning Teams (OPT) for comprehensive planning efforts.
* Serve as the action officer for deliberate action planning, including COA development and decision briefs for military leadership.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Future Operations Planner Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
* High level of knowledge in operations throughout 16 AF.
* Extensive knowledge of the Joint Planning Process, DoD, and USCYBERCOM strategy, policy, and plans.
* Familiarity with techniques to identify, define, and perform detailed analysis on complex issues and develop practical plans, policies, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
* Ability to draft and review operational plans and orders.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop comprehensive plans and policies.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills for briefings and planning teams.
* Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
