Shift: PRN - Between Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work location: Clinic Float Pool - While more clinics are located in Columbia, travel to clinics outside of Columbia is required including Fulton, Fayette, Ashland, Boonville, Jefferson City and Mexico, MO. Hiring Range: LPN: $25.79/hour + $4/hour flex pool rate on all hours worked for float pool! CMA: $22.05/hour + $3/hour flex pool rate on all hours worked for float pool! Additional incentives for extra shifts! JOB DUTIES Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures. Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions. Provide quality care to patients and work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction. Follow all safety, security, and infection control, policies and procedures. Perform all tasks to ensure the safety of self, patient, and co-workers. Maintain the standards of nursing care and departmental criteria to assure they are aligned with the University of Missouri Health Care Mission and Goals. Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups. Perform patient care duties and procedures following department policy, established protocol and standard of care, or directed by Charge Nurse. May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents. This position requires the ability to float to designated ambulatory areas to meet staffing needs throughout MU Health Care. LPN: CMA: One of the following certifications within 6 months:
