Logistic Specialist III As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American Samoa or other territory owning permanent allegiance to the United States. Coordinate logistical operations, including supply receipt, distribution, and determining stockage levels for laboratory needs. Utilize the FIFO method to issue supplies, maintain warehouse inventory, and ensure organized storage. Manage light housekeeping duties, quality control, and environmental monitoring of storage locations, including refrigerators and freezers. Oversee biohazardous waste and chemical supplies/waste removal. Assist in Biomedical Maintenance and equipment repair, plan maintenance schedules, and coordinate vendor access. Apply expertise in logistical life cycle management, supply chain, and regulatory compliance. Operate pallet jacks and oversee hazardous waste management. Compensation & Benefits:

Logistic Specialist III Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the receipt and distribution of supplies for laboratories, ensuring adequate stockage levels to meet daily needs.
- Utilize the FIFO method to issue supplies and maintain an organized warehouse inventory.
- Manage light housekeeping duties, including the upkeep of boxes and packages in an organized manner.
- Oversee quality control measures and environmental monitoring for storage locations, including refrigerators and freezers.
- Direct the removal of biohazardous waste and chemical supplies/waste, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Assist in Biomedical Maintenance and equipment repair, planning maintenance schedules, and coordinating vendor access.
- Apply expertise in logistical life cycle management, including supply chain, biomedical equipment, and property book/hand-receipt responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and state regulations governing the transportation of dangerous/non-dangerous chemicals and hazardous materials. Completion of OSHA 10 Hours course.
- Operate pallet jacks for efficient transportation and storage of materials.
- Oversee the management of hazardous waste in accordance with regulations.
- Use Laboratory Integrated Delivery Systems (LIDS) and conduct technical evaluations of equipment.
- May direct the work of others in executing logistical tasks.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Logistic Specialist III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Associate's degree in business, or other related area of study preferred and 7 years' experience in logistics management required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage logistics teams, providing guidance and direction.
- In-depth understanding of advanced supply chain principles, including procurement, distribution, and inventory management.
- Proven experience in strategic planning for logistical operations to optimize efficiency and meet organizational goals.
- Expertise in inventory management techniques, including utilization of advanced inventory control systems.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations governing transportation of dangerous/non-dangerous chemicals, hazardous materials, and OSHA standards.
- Experience in managing hazardous waste disposal processes and compliance.
- Familiarity with assisting in Biomedical Maintenance, including planning maintenance schedules and coordinating vendor access.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in logistical life cycle management, including supply chain, biomedical equipment, and property book/hand-receipt responsibilities.
- Proficient in relevant logistics software, computer systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve complex logistical challenges.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
