Helicopter Maintenance Site Manager

***This position requires an active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph/ Yankee Whiteclearance or the ability to obtain a TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)/Yankee White clearance to be considered. ***

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

As Aircraft Maintenance Manager, oversee daily maintenance operations, prioritize tasks to minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with regulations. Manage personnel training on maintenance procedures and updates to technical manuals. Advise maintenance team on projects and operations. Schedule repairs, ensuring aircraft and engines are safe for flight. Maintain adherence to Army maintenance directives and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Helicopter Maintenance Site Manager: $

Pay commensurate with experience.

Helicopter Maintenance Site Manager Responsibilities Include:



  • Manages the day-to-day maintenance activities on assigned aircraft.
  • Prioritizes work efforts and personnel in order to minimize aircraft down time.
  • Ensures that all maintenance personnel are trained on proper maintenance procedures and current changes to aircraft technical manuals.
  • Ensures all personnel are in compliance with latest maintenance directives.
  • Ensures compliance to all Army maintenance regulations and requirements.
  • Acts as advisor to aircraft maintenance team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
  • Oversees the scheduling of repairs and maintenance for all aircraft.
  • Manages the service, repair, and overall maintenance of aircraft and aircraft engines to verify aircrafts are safe for flight.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Helicopter Maintenance Site Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Management discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience with five (5) years of management experience in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
  • Must be familiar with the individual aircraft Force Activity Designator (FAD) status and provide appropriate oversight and initiate supply priority and project codes.
  • Assists in the determination of properly assigned cannibalization actions and approval requests.
  • Conducts regular reviews and controls of assigned AWM.
  • Closely coordinates projects to ensure total maintenance accountability is maintained and coordinated with Maintenance Control. Facilitates periodic planning and informational meetings.
  • Ensures all direct report employees and maintenance employees receive job and safety training. Releases aircraft Safe for Flight.
  • Must be able to work overtime and possibly on short notice.
  • Must pass Pre-Employment Physical. To include a drug screen.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside in all environmental condition's day, night, sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, cold climate, and hot climate.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the helicopter maintenance field.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Avionics experience required.
  • VH-92 experience required.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
