HOURS: 4 - 10 hour shifts between Monday through Friday. Holidays and call required. Call is 1 night of either primary or secondary call each weekday and 1 weekend (Friday through Monday) a month. DEPARTMENT: Radiology SALARY: $28.52 - $46.52/HR For a limited time, sign-on bonuses will be available to eligible candidates for this position on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bonuses will be paid after successful candidates complete all pre-employment verifications and start in their new roles. BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY: Interventional Radiology Technologist, Acute Care employees will work with patients under the effects of sedation, general anesthesia, or work with acute-care patients in ICU, Level I Trauma, Stroke, or Burn units. Provide services for both vascular and non-vascular interventional patients where ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understand and monitor the physiological condition of interventional radiology patients during such procedures as thrombectomies, embolizations, line Perform advanced imaging requirements in digital rotational angiography, cone beam CT, 3D reconstruction, and fusion CT. Maintain expansive knowledge of all inventory supplies (consignment, PAR, or departmental) and their locations, including those outside of Radiology. Scrub in during procedures using proper sterile techniques to provide technical support to the physician in both routine and highly complex neuro and peripheral Support a wide variety of procedures referred by various service lines that include but is not limited to Oncology, Trauma, Urology, Gastroenterology, SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General supervision received from the Director, Manager, and Supervisor of Radiology SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervision over Student Tech Assistants and Students performing clinical rotations. See a comprehensive list of benefits here. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV), or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
