Location: Columbia, Missouri Shift: Outpatient clinic labs all locations M-F, hours vary by site (7a-330, 730-4p, 9a-6p) Saturday AM in rotation with other clinic staff. Will cross train in Outreach collection Department: Labs Salary Range: $14.80 - $23.32 ABOUT THE JOB MU Health Care is seeking an entry level Clinical Laboratory Assistant to assist with laboratory processing and phlebotomy. This person will perform a variety of preanalytical laboratory work to include ordering, collection, processing, and distribution of samples for analysis. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Some college coursework in a science related field. Chauffeur driver license; class E or higher for Missouri residents. Phlebotomy training and/or certification. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
