Salary Range: $14.00 - 21.18 /hr Facility: Capital Region Medical Center Work Location: Jefferson CIty, MO For a limited time, sign-on bonuses will be available to eligible candidates for this position on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bonuses will be paid after successful candidates complete all pre-employment verifications and start in their new roles. Duties may vary from clinic to clinic. In general: To perform complex/multiple clerical support functions within physician office practices having a high volume of public contact where, due to the volume and type of services being provided, there exists the potential for highly stressful and challenging encounters. This position may be expected to float to other clinic locations. Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or an equivalent is required. 6 months experience as a receptionist or in a position with related clerical and customer service duties and skills is necessary. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, visitors, physicians, staff and other persons contacted in the course of work is necessary. Ability to enter data into computer is necessary. Ability to keep pace with a high volume of patients while performing multiple, sometimes complex tasks is necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Healthcare is preferred. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. This position is very active and may require ambulating, remaining in a stationary position and positioning self to reach and/or move objects above the shoulders and below the knees. The employee may frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 lbs. and occasionally move objects up to 25 lbs. This role may also routinely come into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
