The Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Langone Health is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Division Director, Hematology and Medical Oncology, Perlmutter Cancer Center. The successful applicant should have substantial experience in in leadership and be able to oversee the entire division in both hematology and medical oncology and work well with senior cancer center leadership. The Division Director has overall responsibility for overseeing the quality of services for all patients cared for by the Service's staff, including ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement programs in the inpatient and outpatient setting. The Division Director will collaborate with Executive and Perlmutter Cancer Center leadership in the development of comprehensive plans for the growth and development of the Service, including strategic plans, operating budgets, capital budgets, and business plans. The Division Director will also be responsible for providing academic leadership to ensure high quality medical student clerkships, residency, and fellowship training program and clinical research programs. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors. Salary Range is $700,000 to $900,000. We seek an experienced clinician investigator eligible for appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor. Knowledge of all aspects of clinical operations is required, including quality assurance, and data management, as well as knowledge of both the research and education missions. The Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center affiliated with the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with robust phase I and disease -specific clinical trials programs that give patients access to a wide array of novel treatment options.
