Primary Care Physician -Gotham Health

Gotham Health, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is currently seeking Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) who will embrace patient and family-centered care, and are committed to improve access to efficient and effective primary care services.

Gotham Health, an NYU-affiliate hospital that is part of NYC Health and Hospitals, is adding a Primary Care Physician to the group at Gotham Health/Cumberland located around Fort Greene Brooklyn. This is a dynamic vibrant neighborhood in the vicinity of parks, museums, sports arena with quick and easy access to Manhattan.

Our evolving primary care practices provide health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, patient education, and community engagement along with diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. Our PCPs serve as advocates for patients.

Attending physicians deliver direct patient care and precept our diverse and passionate residents. The work includes opportunities for teaching, quality improvement, panel management, and clinical leadership.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in community health, evidence-based practice, academic medicine, and patient-centered care. Board Certification preferred; Board eligible within 5 years post residency required.

We offer a competitive compensation package and a stimulating work environment as outlined below:

* Annual Compensation is $224,000-$229,000 based on a 40-hour work week

* The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $256,000:

o 403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required

o Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3000-$3500 inclusive of one week of paid CME time

o Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics

o 24 Annual vacations days, 12 Sick Days, 12 recognized Holidays
