Job Summary

PAY

$80,000 - $120,000

This is an exempt position, all hours worked will be paid under the yearly wage

SHIFT

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Engineering / Engineering Technology, or Agricultural Engineering.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude through training or experience.
  • Experience with machine controls through HMI is preferred.
  • 6 sigma experience preferred
  • Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvements across the entire manufacturing processes (set-up / run / clean) through thorough evaluation of process steps. Use available data (CMMS, ERP....) and develop plan to generate missing data.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges that production team are dealing with in connection with original equipment manufacturer. Drive change with production teams.
  • Assess new product configuration and new manufacturing processes though thorough
    • Establishment of design of experiment DOE
    • Execution of DOE
    • Assessment of results.
    • Establish or review process capability limits.
  • Troubleshoots problems on the production lines with the production team. Propose and implement corrective action.
  • Lead minor capital projects. Planning, documentation, commissioning, equipment's, qualification, staff training....
  • Support or lead the generation of procedure and work instruction related to manufacturing processes or maintenance activities.
  • Support staff training with process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze manufacturing process cost structure to proposed and drive improvement.
  • Drive 5S mindset in the site
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work area including breakdown and cleaning machines.
  • Work across shift to drive alignment with various production and maintenance teams
