The Opportunity: The Prescott Campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is excited to announce an opening for a dynamic and visionary Director of Student Accessibility Services. This pivotal role within the Student Affairs division will shape the future of our Department of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and Testing Center (TC). As the Director, you will lead with a forward-thinking approach, steering the development, implementation, and strategic growth of SAS. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our programs provide exceptional support and accommodations for students with disabilities, in alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the latest guidance from the Office of Civil Rights (OCR). In this role, you will oversee daily operations, including the management of two full-time staff members, budget oversight, and the ongoing process of student intake and accommodation assignment. You'll be at the forefront of testing administration, employee hiring, training, and scheduling, and will be entrusted with maintaining the security and integrity of sensitive records. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in advising and training faculty and staff on best practices for accessibility and inclusiveness.
