We are looking for a Manager to join our team in the emerging Outsourced Accounting Services group, this position offers you an excellent opportunity to collaborate with clients and co-workers by providing Unmatched Client Service in a positive and fast paced environment.

How you will contribute:
- In-charging client engagements for the monthly, quarterly and annual close of accounting records
- In addition to the timely and accurate monthly close, responsibilities also include assistance with reporting for management (or Board) and the budgeting process.
- Assisting leadership with the on-boarding new clients, specifically including:
- Assisting with Sage Intacct implementation and enhancements,
- Reconciling prior and current accounting records, and
- Integrating technology tools to enhance and/or streamline accounting processes.
- Assist with leading our team of Outsourced Accounting professionals, including on-going teaching, training and professional development.
- Participate and assist with the proposal process for prospective clients.
- Represent Forvis Mazars in the professional and business community

- The ability to assess a client's client current accounting system, processes, and related functions with ability to effectively recommend and implement improvements to the client's system

- Excellent presentation and communication skills targeted to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups, and/or board of directors
- Aptitude and passion for learning new software(s) and other technologies

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another related field
- Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in public accounting, organizational accounting operations including accounting system operations, financial statement preparation and supervision of accounting and payroll functions
- Ability to learn to navigate several accounting packages and add-on platforms
- Sage Intacct experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience monthly/period processing and closing, financial statement analysis and preparation
- CPA, CGMA, or CMA certificate
- Sage Intacct user expertise, and experience with implementation and enhancements to Sage Intacct system
- NetSuite user experience
- Business development experience
