The Department of Pediatrics and The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota seeks a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank on an academic track to join the Pediatric Gastroenterology team. The team is currently comprised of six Pediatric Gastroenterology physicians and two Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioners. Position Highlights:
The Division plays an integral role in hepatology and liver transplantation, hosting one of the longest-standing liver transplant programs in the United States. The Division is home to a nationally-recognized division chronic and acute recurrent pancreatitis in children. Our research portfolio is comprised of clinical research in the gastrointestinal complications of cystic fibrosis, inflammatory bowel disease, food insecurity, sarcopenia and chronic pancreatitis. The Division continues to maintain the highest ambitions for excellence in all three of its major missions: patient services, teaching, and research.
