Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Melbourne, FL. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
  • Repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations
  • Mechanical and/or electronic assemblies and subassemblies of:
    • Modules
    • Boards
    • Panels
    • Drawers
    • Frames
    • Cables
  • Follow diagrams, drawings, blueprint lines, and index points
  • Design initial layouts
  • Use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, saws, and fixtures
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
  • Follow approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, including:
    • FAA-approved internal procedures
    • Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
    • Technical data
    • Work package instructions
  • Perform serviceability tests as required
    • Use test equipment specified in technical manuals
  • Complete work package documentation as required by FAA and/or repair station manual
  • Submit completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness
  • Inspect completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off
    • Ensure that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances
Here's what you'll get:
  • Pay Range: $20-29/hour, depending on level of experience
  • Two Shifts Available:
    • 1st Shift: M-F, 7 AM-3:30 PM
    • 2nd Shift: M-F, 3:30 PM-12 AM
  • Workdays: Monday - Friday
  • Length: Contract to Direct
  • Holiday pay, 401(k), direct deposit, and medical and dental insurance

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance or aircraft assembly experience
