Acara Solutions has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for an Part-time Retail Sales Associate at our NEW client site in Los Gatos, CA.

Service all customers through welcome greetings, merchandise sales, cashiering, merchandise bagging and carry-out assistance to customer's vehicle. Service all donors by receiving donations, and through carry-in assistance from donor's vehicles, placing donations in designated areas, providing donation receipts and processing receipts with donations. Service all volunteers through internal operational support. Store opening and closing procedures including cash register drawer counts and end of day income reporting. Maintain opening, ongoing, and end of day appearance of sales floor, including dressing room clean-out, dusting, vacuuming, straightening racks and fixtures, and refreshing depleted displays. Process donations, including sorting, steaming, pricing, and placing merchandise on sales floor.

Wage: $19+/hr. DOE

Store is open: 8 :00am to 5pm (Mon-Fri), weekends, 10am-5pm. This role will be part-time 20 hours per week, 4x days/5x hour shifts, and candidates must have weekend availability.

Length: This role is Temp to Hire and at our NEW location!

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

1) High school diploma or GED

2) At least 1-year of recent retail sales experience

3) This role does have a COVID vaccine requirement

4) Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

1) 2 years of Retail experience working with customers, sales, cashiering, and merchandising

2) Vision abilities include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

3) Employee will be required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear.

4) Excellent communication and customer relation skills

5) Team player, willing to do what is necessary to get the job done

Additional details:

1) Must be comfortable providing carry-out assistance to customer's vehicle
