University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology practice in Wyoming and Minneapolis, MN.

In this Role, You Will:

  • Provide outpatient patient care primarily based at the M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center located in Wyoming, Minnesota.

  • Will spend one day per week at the M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis.

  • Work closely and collaborate with academic Gastroenterologists and an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers to carefor patients with a diverse range of luminal GI disorders.

  • The PA or NP is an experienced member of the health care team who uses advanced practice skills with the collaboration of licensed physicians to provide comprehensive health care services to patients.

  • The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner engages in independent decision making about health care needs and provides health care services to adult individuals throughout their life span.

  • Provide physical and psychological health assessments, patient education and counseling, order and interpret diagnostic procedures, and manage acute and chronic disease conditions ensuring continuity of care for individuals in the communities served.

  • Understand the importance of patient care and service.

Your Schedule:

  • Full time, 1.0 FTE

  • Monday - Friday, during clinic hours

We're Looking for a PA or NP Who Is:

  • A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.

  • Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.

  • Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).

  • Able to meet thresholdcriteria/qualificationsfor Credentialing and Privileges.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting in gastroenterology or related specialty area is preferred.

The full-time salary range is $120,756 - $145,859 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
