JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of General Internal Medicine, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a qualified candidate as a Research Project Manager for the Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH), a new five-year CDC-funded program consisting of multiple projects and collaborative partnerships focused on improving health outcomes at a community level. Specifically, this position will be responsible for implementing and evaluating locally tailored practice- and evidence-based strategies related to nutrition and breastfeeding in the Hispanic and Latino communities of Berks, Dauphin, Lebanon, and York counties. In addition, the candidate will assist with project operations for Penn State REACH. Qualified candidates should be detail-oriented, produce high-quality work, communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, and participate in and support team decisions and team responsibilities. This position will also assist with the preparation and submission of Internal Review Board documentation and the creation of data collection instruments in REDCap as well as funder reports. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel is required to the Pennsylvania counties listed above. Bilingual candidates are preferred. This is a limited-term position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.
