Here's what you'd do:

  • The client is looking for an energetic and proficient Telephone Sales Representative to develop new leads for account managers and sell a full product line to all types of customers via telephone.
  • Responsible for quoting prices and delivery of all stock items and buyouts.
  • Develop partnering relationships with customers,
  • Answers incoming customer inquiries through various media (e-mail, fax, website, phone).
  • Quotes price and delivery to customers based on established pricing structures to maximize profit while allowing for variance when appropriate.
  • Prepares orders according to established standards and procedures.
  • Maintains awareness of the customer's credit standing and follows all company procedures regarding credit extension and terms and conditions.
  • Completes the order process to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries.
  • Coordinates with the VP of sales, making operations aware of any issues to resolve customer issues and maximize opportunities.
  • Makes out-calls when able to develop a customer base and drive additional revenue.
  • Completes other duties as related or assigned.
  • Record accurate information and records in companies' CRM.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $22 - $25/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience as a telephone sales representative for industrial products.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience accepting accountability for success and failure.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in seeking new clients and will expect to make 75-100 calls daily.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Has working knowledge of all types of matting and their primary applications and finds resources if additional information or service is necessary.
  • Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills.
  • CRM skills are recommended.
  • Uncompromising commitment to customer service, with the ability to build collaboration between many solutions providers as we strive to be the customer's first choice.
  • Ability to balance many requirements simultaneously, needing quick resolution and a high tolerance for change.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Proven success selling industrial products.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple projects.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
