Summary Responsible for managing marketing, sales and retention functions for the ACA and Medicare lines of business. Description

Develops and implements marketing and sales programs for ACA and Medicare Products.

Responsible for generating sufficient sales to cover cost of operations and provide profitable growth to the division.

Responsible for the development and management of all sales channels including: Telemarketing, Internet, Retail and Direct Sales.

Responsible for budgeting, planning, and hiring necessary staff.

Responsible for health insurance agent licensing and appointment functions. Responsible for design of agent commission programs.

Required Education: Bachelor's

Required Work Experience: 10+ years marketing/sales experience with proven ability to generate sales in individual products market segments. 5 years management experience OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above (may be concurrent).

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of Marketing and Sales techniques. Strong health insurance industry knowledge. Strong analytical and management skills. Good working knowledge of communications, advertising, promotional techniques, and distribution channels.

Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
