ACARA Solutions and our defense client based in Canonsburg, PA, is offering a contract-to-direct hire opportunity available.
Senior Advanced Engineering Technician
$37.00-$42.00 per hour (DOE)
Active DoD clearance (any level including interim) is required
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and support new technicians in various engineering tasks, including the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment.
  • Complex Interpretations: Analyze and interpret detailed engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to understand and manage necessary interfaces.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Execute complex system-level troubleshooting down to the component level.
  • Technical Execution: Utilize schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, and layout plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting.
  • Equipment Management: Layout, build, calibrate, adjust, install, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in specialized function and proficiency in the application and interpretation of complex specifications, requirements, standards, and practices

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
