Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Goleta, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance cross-functional spacecraft teams' safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Participate in the identification of risks and implementation of solutions for a variety of production & process needs
  • Hands-on activities/tasks include but are not limited to tool control, establishing 5S systems, supporting Kaizen projects, maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and facilities, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Hands-on setup & procurement of equipment, tools, & aids for spacecraft production work areas.
  • Support other Industrial Engineers in routine work & assignments.
  • Read & teach personnel how to interpret basic production KPIs & charts.
  • Perform math and measurement functions
  • Collect data and present it understandably.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $32.43 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week

Length: Contract (3 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in data entry.
  • Minimum 1 year of read KPIs, data & charts experience
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing (product assembly) experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Powerpoint, Visio
  • Working knowledge of SCRUM, Jira, or Confluence
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with others
  • Good analytic skills
  • Good understanding of Lean Principals
  • Ability to lead in a team environment
  • Good analytic skills
  • Able to read, comprehend, and follow established written instructions without deviation.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
