Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Human Resource Specialist (Shared Services ) to work with our client in Malta, NY. This is a 6-month contact position. Introduction: You will be a part of the Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) team aligned to our Human Resources vertical and will help us in the function that deals with people and people related areas such as recruiting, learning, training, onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, organization development and culture. You will perform transactions or a supported service area in a region, developing solutions to manage the service processes aligned with established practices, policies, and/or laws. An expert in HR operational functions to support company-wide activities and to ensure we are compliant with labor law and company policies. Hourly rate : $25 - $28/hour Work schedul e: Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm EST) - Hybrid work schedule home/in office Duration of contract : 6 months (from Mid-Sep to Mid- Mar). - Possibility to extend if required for another 2-3 months. Your Job: Manage New employee orientation. Manager Executive interview scheduling activity. Manage end-to-end employee life cycle of the employees (Hire to Exit) Identify process gap to improve and optimize processes. Monitor grievances and implement disciplinary policies and procedures. Ascertain timely resolution of queries. Knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow application Communicate organizational policies and processes and ensure its understanding, as this role will include interacting with Global stakeholders. Good English Communication skills (Written and Verbal) is a must. Good in excel and documentation of process. Knowledge of HR policies and processes Ability to meet deadlines. Other Responsibilities: Knowledge of HR concepts and terminology Effective listening skills Strong customer service orientation Strong ability to grasp information quickly and probe effectively when required. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize requests and duties. Attention to detail. Effective research, problem-solving and follow-through skills Strong computer/technical skills; previous HRIS experience preferred. Ability to remain positive under pressure. Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety, and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures, and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace. Job Requirements Required Qualifications: Education Any Graduate Degree or in Business Administration or equivalent. Any Postgraduate degree or an MBA. Years of Experience Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR administration Preferably AMS region HRSS (hire to retire) experience. Preferably with prior experience working in the manufacturing industry.
