- The Failure Analysis Engineer will provide technical support to production to overcome daily challenges.
- The FA Engineer will also use procedures and instructions to initiate the analysis process when product failure occurs.
- Investigations and research for root causes, with analysis documented and recorded, communicate/co-work with local/overseas teams internally, and provide solutions.
- The Engineer may contact the client company for any quality escalations.
- Responsible for Failure Analysis and generating FA reports for Customer Products.
- Identify optimum analytical approaches critical to problems.
- Needs communication with local and overseas teams via emails and conference calls.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Product Design or Mechanical or Electronic or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an FA engineer for computing devices.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hardware assembly and disassembly on computing devices.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Have appropriate knowledge of the various systems, including but not limited to Windows, Android, CMD, and Linux tools, and procedures used in Production for Repair and failure analysis.
- Skilled in communication, problem-solving, and applying experience and expertise.
- Needs excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have knowledge of Office suite (Excel, Word).
- Needs moderate knowledge of UEFI, WINPE, CMD, Batch files, SDK, ADK, and Configuration files such as 'ini.'
- Effectively communicate concepts and solutions with various levels/teams of the organization.
- Effective liaison between SMS and HQ.
- Able to work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
- Needs analytical and statistical skills.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

- Able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a Lab/testing environment.
- Individuals need to walk extensively while working and walking the facilities to reach over-shoulder heights, bend or stoop below the waist, and repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement.
