JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State College of Medicine, Department: Public Health Sciences, in Hershey, PA, reporting to Abebayehu N. Yilma (PhD, MPH), PI for Institute of Energy and the Environment (IEE) Seed grant for a project in Ghana, is seeking a Part time Research Assistant. Position Summary: The Research Assistant (RA) will support faculty-led research projects within the Department of Public Health Sciences. The role involves a blend of academic research, data analysis, and administrative tasks to ensure the successful execution and completion of research projects. This position is ideal for a graduate student seeking to gain hands-on experience in research methodologies and project management within field of public health. The research project is studying how climate change affects Ebola spread in Ghana and assessing healthcare workers' and community members' knowledge and attitudes to improve preparedness and prevention strategies.
