JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Nittany Lions Read/Nittany Lions Count Federal Work-Study Program (NLR/NLC) is seeking applicants to join our program for the 2024/2025 academic year for placement in the early childhood program at the Multicultural Community Resource Center (MCRC). Working directly with the MCRC staff, NLR/NLC students will assist and support the program's staff, engage directly with the children, and provide one-on-one and/or small-group care and support. This position is available Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. A commitment of a two hour block of time on either MWF or TR required. Hourly rates for NLR/NLC participants begin at $14/hour. This job requires a National Sex Offender Registry Verification as well as the following 3 publicly available clearances: * PA State Police Criminal Background Check Additional clearances may be required for out-of-state applicants.
