Overview of the Position: Responsible for aviation regulatory compliance for Wencor Group and its subsidiaries. Functional responsibilities include Continuous Operational Safety (COS), Organization Designation Authorization (ODA), and Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. The Director of Aviation Compliance is a driver and leader who develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, practices, training, audit programs, documentation, and other activities to ensure aviation compliance across all Company operations while also supporting the business needs of the Company. This role sits at the corporate level and works closely with quality and compliance leads at the Company's sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education / Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or an aviation technical/quality field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, with approximately three years or more of management responsibility. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
