JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: For over 20 years, the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity (CSGD) has been serving students of diverse genders and sexualities at The Pennsylvania State University. Boasting robust student support services and educational initiatives focused on student success, the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity has helped to make Penn State one of Campus Pride's top LGBTQ+ premier campuses. The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity provides opportunities and fosters networks across the greater Penn State community to better understand and support the diversity of our world along with acknowledging that everyone deserves to thrive during their educational journey as their authentic selves. To create safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environments for all sexually and gender diverse students, our undergraduate, graduate, and full-time staff strive to center the experiences of transgender, gender non-conforming, gender diverse, and non-binary students. As part of that support, we have worked with campus and community colleagues to enhance the coordination of services specifically for our gender-diverse communities with a newly defined staff position complementing and furthering the existing work happening within and outside the CSGD. Education & Experience Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's and 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
