The Department of Pediatrics, Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and RWJBarnabas Health are seeking a trained Pediatric Hospitalist for a faculty position in New Brunswick, NJ. The new faculty member will have clinical, teaching and other academic responsibilities within the Division and the Department of Pediatrics. The candidate will be a MD/DO physician, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated physician who is passionate about academic medicine and clinical/lab bench research.

Our physicians provide both ambulatory and inpatient care at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and RWJBarnabas Health facilities. The position may include travelling to offsite locations. We are seeking a candidate who has a passion for teaching, enjoys caring for children with a wide variety of conditions including those who are medically complex. We value leadership. Applicants with research training and a portfolio of scholarly productivity are encouraged. As a part of Rutgers University RWJMS faculty have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in the basic and social sciences, other clinical arms of the university (e.g. Social Work, Pharmacy) and the Rutgers School of Public Health, among others.
