Job Description

Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seeking aFinancial Analyst IIIto work Remote.

Primary task is providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget. Analysts examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods. Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending. Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets. May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize financial systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial system documentation, including user guides and process flows.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial systems, providing technical support to end-users.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Design and generate reports to provide insights into financial performance and operations.
  • Train and support end-users on financial systems and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Job Requirements
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial systems analysis or a similar role.
  • 3+ Years of experience supporting DOD and/or DONprograms
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


Must Have

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing financial systems.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with finance and IT teams.


Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific financial practices and regulations.
  • Experience with financial system integrations and data migrations.
