The Department of Psychology at Rutgers University-Camden Campus invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in any area of cognitive science, including cognitive neuroscience, to start in Fall 2025.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field by the time of appointment. As a research active campus, we seek faculty who will make significant contributions to research within their area of Psychology. The most competitive candidates should have an active program of research leading to peer-reviewed publications and the potential to attract external funding. Teaching responsibilities may include graduate and undergraduate courses in research methods, statistics, as well as classes focused on the candidate's area of expertise.
Rutgers-Camden is a diverse, research-intensive campus of 6,000 students located in Camden, New Jersey, directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Our campus is classified as a "Doctoral University: High Research Activity" (R2) institution by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, and it emphasizes civic engagement.
