Rutgers Law School invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for multiple tenure-track or tenured positions at the law school's campuses in Camden and Newark.

These positions will be based on the both the Camden and Newark campuses.
The Camden location seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor across a broad curricular spectrum, with particular emphasis on candidates who can teach Tax, Business Organization's, Constitutional Law and Contracts. Other areas of interest include Legal, Analysis, Writing and Research. All applicants should have a distinguished academic background and either demonstrate great promise or a record of excellence in scholarship and teaching. The position involves responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service. All candidates must have a doctorate (JD or PhD) in law or equivalent.
The Newark location invites applications for a strong leader and clinical teacher in its newly created Ruth Bader Ginsburg Women's Rights and Gender Justice Clinic on its Newark campus. This Clinic will be a critical new addition to an already well-established and well-recognized clinical program. The applicant primarily will be responsible for developing the curriculum and docket of this new clinic. However, teaching outside of the clinic also will be part of this position. Scholarship, clinical teaching, and legal practice experience related to gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation discrimination; reproductive rights; domestic violence; or other gender justice issues is required. The ideal candidate will have tenure; however, strong applicants who are pre- tenure will be considered. Minimum requirements include a J.D. degree and membership in good standing of the Bar of any state; at least 5 years of related legal experience and/or 5 years of clinical teaching experience; and a demonstrated potential for scholarship.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate's offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
