Posting Summary

This position will treat women with maternal or fetal issues pre-conception, through their pregnancy, and beyond with a focus on improving maternal or fetal options. Oversight and experience with level II ultrasound and intrapartum procedures are required. Experience and training in fetal medicine is preferred. Plans and participates in medical care to both inpatients and outpatients seen in University Hospital, our Ambulatory Practice, and other sites collaborating with Rutgers-NJMS. Opportunity for position to become permanent after probationary period ends.

Minimum Education and Experience

Qualified applicants should have completed a board approved fellowship program and be certified/eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to clinical duties, the successful applicant will be responsible for lectures and didactic clinical instruction for our fully accredited MFM fellowship program as well as our obstetrics and gynecology residents and NJMS medical students

Our role is to advance knowledge in the field of clinical medicine as well as the basic science of pregnancy and reproduction through research. We provide clinical care to our local community and consultative care in our sub specialties to the State. We also provide leadership in our field, both locally and nationally
