Position requires MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent and completion of thirty-six (36) months of ACGME accredited internal medical residency. The role requires a valid Maryland medical license and American Board Certification (or eligibility) in Internal Medicine.

MedStar St. Mary's Hospital is nestled in the waterside community of Leonardtown, Maryland and is a full-service hospital, with cutting edge imaging services, delivering state-of-the-art emergency, acute inpatient, and outpatient care. St. Mary's Hospital has been a part of the Southern Maryland community for more than 100 years. A refresh of the Emergency Department (ED)'s main lobby and waiting area has recently been completed. The ED treats approximately 45,000 patients annually with an admission rate of 22%. This position has a hiring range of $245,000 - $305,000.
