Description Job title Life Skills Professional Reports to Office Manager Position Summary The Life Skills Professional is responsible for client support through direct interaction throughout shift; collaboratively and actively assisting and supporting the participants of the program in the development of Life/Recovery Support/Coping/Daily living skills. Facilitate and document life skills groups, implementing the activities on the monthly calendar; promote and enhance the trauma-informed culture of the program and the establishment and attainment of goals identified in the resident's treatment plan. Working conditions While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, lift, use hand to find, handle feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, listen, taste, and smell. The job also requires employees to lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs. The individual must be able to manager stairs on a frequent basis. Requirements Physical requirements Lifting Requirements
Physical Requirements
RHD employees and programs in the City of Philadelphia are required to follow the COVID vaccine mandate. Revised PDPH guidance allows for new hires to be partially vaccinated at the time of hire. This means they have received at least one shot in a two-dose series or a single dose in a one dose series before beginning in-person shifts. The final dose must be received within 8 weeks of hire (start date). This currently does not include boosters. Reporting Relationships
