Therapist/Clinical Evaluator

Reports to

Clinical Manager/Program Director

Position Summary

The Therapist/Clinical Evaluator conducts court-ordered biopsychosocial evaluations and makes recommendations for treatment and ancillary services. The evaluations are performed at the program office during daytime hours.

Essential Duties and Functions

  • Meet with individuals to conduct biopsychosocial evaluations
  • Produce written results document summarizing clinical impressions and recommendations
  • Consult with Assistant Director and/or Program Director on decision-making for challenging cases
  • Facilitate group therapy as needed

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field.
  • Two years' experience providing direct therapy in the area of mental health, substance use or IDD.
  • Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
  • ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
  • FBI clearance, as needed

  • Light: exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and/or leg control requires force greater than sedentary, but worker still sits majority of time.
