Our MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a board-certified Hospitalist to join the Cardiovascular (Critical Care) - post-surgical teamtomanage cardiac and vascular surgical patients admittedto the cardiovascular step-downunit in conjunction with our APPs. The candidate will coordinate consultations and collaborate with surgeons, intensivists and other members of the care team. Clinical responsibilities include multidisciplinary rounding of IMC-level of care patients within our 18- bed mixed step-down cardiovascular unit. Ideal applicants will have experience in the care of complex cardiac patients. Experience in management of cardiothoracic surgery and vascular surgery patients is a plus. Non-clinical duties include quality improvement, optimizing delivery of care, and staff education.
