Description

The Program Office Technical Support Senior will troubleshoot the Mission Planning Environment and hardware and explain solutions to users.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:



  • Provide user support for numerous devices and maintain updated software/hardware configurations.
  • Train users on mission planning and execution software applications.
  • Maintain network servers and client computers with current imagery.
  • Provide local and remote support for IT systems and the software associated with these systems.
  • Conduct network centric system administration of user systems.
  • Provide intuitive solutions for ever changing user support requests.
  • Integrate enterprise communications architecture with tactical networking devices.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


Experience:



  • Five (5) + years System Engineering experience.
  • Familiar with Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) software suite (ATAK & WINTAK).
  • Knowledge of C#, C++, VB.net, and Java.
  • Experience with Windows 10, Windows Server Operating Systems, Linux Operating System (RHEL/CentOS) Virtualization Environment (VMware, Hyper-V), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Familiar with DISA STIGS, EMASS, and System Vulnerability Mitigation.


Optional/Desired Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Special Operation Forces (SOF) support operations and tactics.
  • Familiarity with the assigned component's tactical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides.
  • Possess operational experience with navigation and/or mission planning techniques including preparation and validation of planning products and outputs.
  • Familiar with the wide range of SOF customer weapon systems identified and possess in-depth, first-hand mission planning skills and knowledge related to the SOF deployment environments.


Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline; or Technical School Certificate related to computer systems; or the equivalent military training desired.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:



  • A+ CE, CCNA - Security, Network+, or SSCP highly desired.


Other Required Skills & Abilities:



  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.


Security Clearance: Secret security clearance required with ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
