Position: General Laborer
Location: Norwalk, CA
Starting Pay: $19.25/ hour + $0.50 Shift Differential pay
Shift: (Flexibility required) 1st Shift 7am-3pm, 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm, 3rd shift 11pm-7am

While reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for working on the production line and ensuring the production of a quality product in a safe working environment. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the product or process. We have the opportunity for long term career growth and promotions for employees that take pride in learning the process, working on a team and performing at a high level.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
  • Ensuring that product is of acceptable quality
  • Palletizing product in a safe and effective manner
  • Maintaining packing equipment such as strappers and stretch-wrappers
  • Assisting line personnel when needed
  • Completing required documentation

This position is in our plant in Norwalk, CA.

  • You can perform work under minimal supervision.
  • You can handle complex issues, problems, and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Have at least 1 year in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Can work overtime as needed
  • You have to have a "get it done" attitude.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are reliable, have good initiative, are committed, and being quality focused is a must.
  • Have the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.
  • Have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
