While reporting to the Quality Manager III - Plant as the Quality Manager- Plant you will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant's quality testing and reporting system within the Jacksonville, FL plant. What you'll be doing: Quality - Execute plant quality plan (CXAP - Customer Experience Action Plan). Responsible for leading all aspects of plant quality function. Providing development and maintenance of the quality testing/reporting system. Managing the specification, test methods and instruction processes. Performing line validations as major changes occur or new products are introduced. Ensure quality records are maintained. Provide direction to the QC's in attaining and maintain plant quality. Safety - Execute plant safety plan. Responsible for leading all aspects of plant safety function. Work with Plant supervision to insure the safety of all individuals in the facility. Recognized as a safety role model by Leadership Team (Management) and Team Members (hourly personnel). Assist plant supervision with all requirements and responsibilities of the Core Safety Program. Lead and implement all Safety Programs and facilitate related activities ensuring safety records are maintained. Conduct one-on-one safety discussions with at least one team member every day. Plant Functional Support - position will provide support across various other functions as required such as plant admin and procurement. Position will be a key member of the plant management leadership team. This position is located in Jacksonville, FL. We'd love to hear from you if: You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years' experience as a Quality Manager Previous experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system Compensation: Quality Manager - Plant: The annual base salary range for this role is from $80,320 to $90,360 Quality Manager II - Plant: The annual base salary range for this role is from $95,200 to $107,00 #LI-TW1 At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits.
