This position is part of Novanta's ATI Industrial Automation business unit. ATI is the world's leading developer of robotic end of arm technologies. Summary

As a Master Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes. You'll work cross-functionally to create and maintain long-term production plans that deliver against customer demand. You'll work with production planners to maintain schedules, achieving production goals, resource availability and customer demand.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date production schedules using project management tools.
  • Analyzing project data to identify trends and areas for improvement and process optimization.
  • Liaising between customers, Customer Service, and Purchasing pertaining to product demand and the scheduling of purchases.
  • Identifying and addressing production bottlenecks and developing solutions to increase throughput.
  • Providing regular reports on production performance to senior management.

General Tasks

  • Drive professional and effective program management for assigned initiatives using industry recognized methodologies and other relevant tools/techniques, ensuring high quality delivery.
  • Previous ERP migration, implementation and transformation experience a plus.
  • Experience with modern ERP system (Oracle/SAP), BI and project management tools is highly desired.
  • Integrates sales orders and forecast with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment and staff/capacity to meet delivery dates and ensures schedule attainment goals are met.
  • Responsible for maintaining the execution of the SIOP process to ensure the alignment of demand and supply plans.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop Supply Chain project plans and coordinate cross-functional teams.
