Position: Robotic Welder ILocation: Hartselle, AL Wage: $23.98/hour While reporting to the Production Team Leader as the Production Associate I you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of production operations. Requirements: Perform all tasks in accordance to all Corporate Safety Rules and Guidelines Maintain clean and organize workstation to 5S Standards Perform quality checks on parts using inspection tools such as tape measures Program Robot to perform all new tasks and components Access programs, set tools, and operate welding robot Assemble materials Load and unload fixtures and parts Verify product and raw material conformance to specification(s) Weld and/or Fabricate product based on BOM, Route Sheets, Drawings, and Verbal Instructions Perform WIP inspection as required to achieve a quality product Perform daily preventative maintenance on robotic weld machine Perform operator maintenance per established schedules Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks Must perform skills test conducted by Calhoun College Must be able to attend all applicable training classes Must maintain robotic cell up time % when established Must be able to train Operator Level I Perform basic DTM on robotic cell Fill in for Robotic Cell Technician within approved guidelines Other Duties as Assigned At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits.
