Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

The mission of the Fayetteville State University School of Nursing is to educate culturally competent, ethical, and caring nurses for a global society. The School of Nursing seeks a committed scholar and nursing educator capable of contributing to the continued expansion of the School of Nursing for an open rank, tenure track position to begin in Fall 2024. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the School of Nursing across the curriculum, engaging in active scholarship, and in university and professional service.
The Assistant/Associate Professor position will teach nursing courses and develop instructional material related to the area assigned. The Assistant Professor will evaluate student clinical performance according to established criteria and course objectives. In addition, the Assistant/Associate Professor will perform related duties such as advising students on academic curricula, formal and informal instruction, counseling students, original work or research, preparation of new courses, and serving on various campus and community committees.

Experience in teaching nursing.
