Temporary Public Communications Creator (Athletics Content)

The Office of Strategic Communication ( OSC) is looking to hire a public communications content creator to fulfill an 11-month commitment beginning in August/September of 2024.

The Public Communications Specialist will be detailed to work in the Fayetteville State University Department of Athletics and report to the Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations. This role will be the department liaison for athletics media and the OSC. The specialist will assist Athletic Media Relations with pre-game and post-game stories, game broadcasts, features, and the maintenance of the athletic department's website, and social media to promote the University's 12-sponsored sports, student-athletes, and coaches across traditional and emerging media communication vehicles.

A bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, or related field is required.
