Nurse Practitioner, inpatient Cardiology, weekends

This position will be supporting inpatient cardiology for weekend support on the general service. This position is 20 hours per week/40 hours per payroll, Friday-Monday.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides comprehensive health care to patients in various states of health or illness in collaboration with one or more physicians using guidelines agreed upon with physicians. Practices medicine as part of the Physician directed team in those areas directed to do so by their physician group. Provides care to patients in various states of health and/or illness under the scope of practice developed with their physician group.

EDUCATION:

Registered Nurse who has successfully completed a formal education program approved by the Vermont Board of Nursing, or state or national accrediting agency which prepares nurses to function in Advanced Nursing Practice. Must also be certified by a National Certifying Agency recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner desired.
