Description: As a per diem, nonexempt,CPS Solutions, LLCStaff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule:There are no regularly scheduled shifts, this position will work "as needed" up to 19 hours per week.

About the Facility: River Oaks Hospital, located in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana is a private psychiatric facility. For the past 40 years River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. Situated on a 14 acre campus, services are available for all ages (children, adolescents, adults, seniors) and at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient). The New Orleans Institute specialized services for the treatment of trauma and compulsive behaviors. The Eating Disorders Treatment Center offers a comprehensive program for male and female adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia and related eating disorders. Both the New Orleans Institute and the Eating Disorders Treatment Center are nationally recognized for their excellence. Both programs are referred patients from around the United States and are acknowledged as leading centers in their fields. This pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30 pm and weekends from 7am-Noon. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of the pharmacy.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Louisiana Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems

Hospital Requirements:

• (PPD) TB Skin Test or proof of a TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or a blood titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or a blood titer proving immunity
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st and April 30th
• COVID Vaccine
