As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions LLC Staff Pharmacist at River Vista Behavioral Health Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for PTO, additional coverage, and occasional on-call coverage on an as needed basis.

Pay Range: $62-$65/hour based upon experience

About the Facility: River Vista Behavioral Health Hospital is a 128-bed, Joint Commission accredited hospital that provides inpatient behavioral and mental health services for adults, adolescents, and children. This new facility opened in July 2023! CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:The pharmacy IS open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm and in the future potentially half days Saturday and Sunday depending on patient populace. The pharmacy utilizes CPOE, HCS and Omnicell software.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current California pharmacist license in good standing
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
• Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
• Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
• HepB3 Series(or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1^st-April 30^th
• COVID Vaccine-Full
