As a full time, nonexempt,CPSStaff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule:This position is scheduled to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Occasional weekends and holidays from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.

About the Facility/Pharmacy:BridgePoint Continuing Care Hospital West Jeffersonis a Long Term Acute Care facility that specializes in providing acute care to medically complex and critically ill patients who require longer hospital stays. Promoting recovery from the most critical and complex medical-surgical conditions, each hospital is led by a team of multidisciplinary staff of specialized physicians and experienced caregivers, including nurses, nutritionists, respiratory and rehabilitation therapists, and case managers.CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm, and Saturday/Sunday from 8:00am-Noon and utilizes Omnicell dispensing cabinets and EPIC EMR.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing in LA
• Experience as a Pharmacist, hospital setting preferred
  
  
  
  • EPIC and Omnicell experience is a plus!
  
  
  
  
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
• Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
• Varicella Vaccination or titer proving immunity
• Hep B Vaccination
• MMR Vaccination
• Physical
• Respiratory Fit Test
