Genesis10 is seeking an AV Technician for our client in the Transportation industry. This long term contract position is located in Downtown Dallas, TX. Description: Shifts include: 8-5 or 9-6 or 8:30-5:30 Must be present for board meetings - twice a month. Will be required to be at board meetings to make sure equipment is working. Board meetings vary in time. Rarely start before lunch. IMPORTANT: Dress code is business casual (No Jeans) with the exception of board meetings, where professional dress is required (collared shirt with tie OR blouse slacks/skirt/dress). Work location: Home base will be HQ, but will be needed at various locations where conference rooms are present. Client will provide vehicles when local travel is required. Responsibilities: Our client has a world class dispatch center with a 40' x 20' video wall, multiple large monitors and 100 conference rooms with projectors, phones and Polycom systems. In this role you will troubleshoot any audio visual issues and attempt to quickly resolve the problem. Know when to escalate the issues. Requirements: Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills. Valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record. Background check and drug screen is required. Knowledge of audio equipment (microphones, mixers, amplifiers, speakers), familiarity with visual equipment (projectors, screens, video cameras, monitors, video walls). Must have strong diagnosing skills (resolving technical issues with A/V equipment), proficiency with A/V controls software (Crestron and Teams video preferred), and an understanding of signal flow and wiring: basic networking skills and knowledge of IP-based A/V solutions. Will support session boards, analog gateways and IP devices.
