MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks highly motivated, creative, detail-oriented, scientifically driven entry-level research scientists and engineers to join the Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group and work with us to push the forefront of quantum research and development. This open position will focus on design and measurement of superconducting qubits within one or more of these application areas: novel qubit development, advanced device design and characterization, and small- to medium-scale quantum processor characterization. Successful candidates will be embedded in one or more of these areas based on skills, interest, and program needs. At MIT Lincoln Laboratory, you will work on a diverse team and utilize a broad set of technical skills to achieve successful outcomes on project deliverables. These skills include, but are not limited to: simulation, test planning, hardware and software development, component and system characterization, physics experiments, data analysis, and system engineering.
