Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements in Java to accomplish business goals Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, and business) in design and development of client requirements Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance) Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline Automate manual release activities Mentor other Software Engineers and coach team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack Requirements: Strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns Camunda Spring/Boot Angular & Upgrades- Experience building Angular libraries (or open-source libraries in general) Experience in Generating Config driven Dynamic Forms using Web Components In depth knowledge of user interface development tech stack and frameworks such as, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, NodeJS Experience in development of interactive front-end part of various web and mobile apps, especially single-page applications, dynamic/guided forms and high-performance angular software Hands-on Design and development experience on Microservices, Restful API and Swagger2 Experience working with Java application servers (Tomcat, etc.) Experience working with RDBMS, SQL, Oracle Experience with source version control, build and dependency management tools (Git, Maven, etc.) Experience with unit test frameworks for Java and JavaScript/Typescript (unit testing, e2e testing, Junit Pay Range: $63.68 - $71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
